Nottingham Rotaract

Nottingham Rotaract is a fun group of like minded individuals aged 18-30ish!
We meet on the first and third Thursday of every month in Nottingham City Centre.
The main focus of the group is on charities which help young people in the Nottingham area but we also help national and international causes.
We have a program of speakers/visits so that we can learn something new and hope that members can gain new skills through their involvement; in everything from organising events to presentation/ IT skills and fundraising activities.
We also have a wide and varied range of social activities as many members are new to Nottingham and the UK we like to get everyone out and about to see new places or try new activities.
Since we started in 2009 we have helped 'Allsorts'a local charity for young people with learning difficulties/disabilities, 'PEDALs' a charity which helps young people by educating them through BMXs! we also helped fund a trip to Ghana for a group of students from West Nottinghamshire college and we have paid for a house for a family in India and funded items for a local school.
We have connections with many local Rotary clubs and work closely with them.
