Nottingham Rotaract are working with the Ear Foundation; they are a charity based in Lenton who work with people of all ages to help transform the lives of deaf people.
Since October 2010 Rotaract have planted bulbs and cleaned up the patio area so that those using the accommodation can benefit from somewhere to relax and retreat to whilst using services at the Ear Foundation or when family members are receiving treatment. We hope to continue this work with your help...
What a fantastic day, the sun was shining and everything went as planned. We had lots of cake, a tombola, an easter egg hunt and book sale. A great way to celebrate the work we have done on the garden and to share it with others. Thanks to the mayor the evening post and everyone else who came along and made it a really successful event.
On Sunday we all got together to do some final prep on the garden before the open day this Saturday. So we jet washed, weeded, tied up plants, put up the bird boxes and generally made it all look lovely! Hope to see as many of you as possible at the weekend.
